STATS_-11 lbs-5% bodyfat (1)Favorite quote: So comes snow after fire, and even dragons have their endings. – The Hobbit

Where did you grow up? Chandler, Arizona

How did you become interested in and how long have you been with Phoenix 360 Fitness? I’ve been coming to Phoenix 360 since September of 2017. I Became interested after I saw a Groupon and encourage hubby to give it a try with me.

What motivates/inspires/determines you to train and push yourself to your limits? The last five years have been pretty tough health wise and with stress from work. I’m motivated to be more healthy and take care of myself as I get older. I also want to go on more adventures and have the strength and stamina to enjoy them!

What’s was your biggest hurdle and how did you overcome it? My biggest hurdle was finding the time to work out and to cook/meal prep. There was always an excuse as to why I couldn’t do it or didn’t go. My husband and I hold each other accountable. It’s great to have a friend or partner who is in it with you and helps you be your best self.

How much do you exercise? Six days a week! I go to the gym everyday. When I can’t, I work out at home or do yoga.

How has your training at Phoenix 360 helped you in your life? Training has given me consistency. It’s a stress reliever and I always feel good mentally afterwards. On top of that, I’m getting stronger so old injuries don’t bother me as much and my mild asthma is also a thing of the past! Finally, it’s a great hobby I get to enjoy with my husband.

What’s your favorite exercise? Slam balls; let the stress of the day just flow right out.

How do you balance your time with a job, and taking care of yourself? That’s probably the best thing about Phoenix 360; the classes are only 30 minutes! If I know I am working late in the week, I’ll wake up early and do a morning class. I also plan out when I prep my meals. A little bit of time and effort at the beginning of the week saves me so much time during the workweek. I never have to worry about cooking or making it to The gym on weekdays.

If you could give our readers one health weightloss tip, what would it be? Start small; make a small goal that works for you. It took me a few months to get to a place where I felt I was making progress. Small goals and wins add up. Don’t try to do everything all at once. Allow yourself time to adjust and make changes. Rome wasn’t built in a day. You can do it
